There are many ways to become involved...

State Chapter Director:

Individual or team of people leading the Karaoke World Championships charters, teams, and competition trials within any state.  The KWCUSA State Chapter Director has the important task of building the network of competing teams within their state/chapter/charters.

State Chapter Director receives the rights to hold KWC licensed competitions within that state for the KWCUSA 2019 competition year.  With this licensing the Chapter director agrees to follow the set KWCUSA competition guidelines and deadlines provided by National Directorship.  Chapter Director also agrees not to participate on any level in similar world singing competitions. State Chapter Director may create a sub set of bylaws for their chapter, within National guidelines, that are only to be instituted after direct review and written approval from the National Director.  The State Chapter Director agrees to source out qualifying charters and team venues within their assigned region to hold local team trials.  State Chapter Directors will help direct these events within that state by providing the necessary KWCUSA Licensed Charter Information and Team Venue Kits and in securing judging officials for all enrolled Venue Team trials in that state.  Venue events will all lead up to one State Chapter finals event. State Chapter Director has the right to charge a door fee for the finals event with the monies collected going directly to that State Chapter budget.  The resulting scores of the State Chapter Finals Event will select the top 5-6 singers in that State Chapter to form the competing team to send as representatives to the national finals event. [1st place winner airfare and hotel room prize package is included in these state Chapter Director fees].  State Chapter Director will lead the members of their state chapter team to the US National Finals Competition as a connection between the contestant and national event planning organization.

State Charter Director:

The KWCUSA State Charter Director has the important task of building the network of competing teams within their assigned charter area.  State Charter Director receives the rights to hold KWC licensed competitions within their assigned area for the KWCUSA 2019 competition year.

With this licensing the Charter director agrees to follow the set KWCUSA competition guidelines and deadlines provided by National Directorship.  Charter Director also agrees not to participate on any level in other similar world singing competitions. The Charter Director agrees to source out qualifying venues within their assigned region to hold local team trials. Charter Directors are responsible for certain assigned regions working along with the State Chapter Director(s) to locate participating venue locations to hold team try outs in an effort to provide a Charter Team to compete in the State Finals.   Venue events will all lead up to one Charter area finals event.  The resulting scores of the Charter Finals Event will select the top 5-6 singers in that area to form the competing team to send as representatives of that Charter to the Chapter finals event. Charter Director will lead the members of their Charter team to the US National Finals Competition as a connection between the contestant and the Chapter event planning organization.
