Host FAQs
Find answers to common questions about hosting a sanctioned KWCUSA competition at your venue. We provide the platform and support; you provide the stage.
What are the costs associated with hosting?
KWCUSA offers various licensing tiers depending on your venue size and competition frequency. Costs typically cover the official sanctioned status, national marketing exposure, and access to the KWCUSA scoring app.
How long is the standard hosting contract?
Most venues sign up for a single season (typically 3–6 months), which includes a series of qualifying nights leading up to a venue final. Multi-year partnerships are also available for established karaoke hubs.
What exactly is SmartMic technology?
SmartMic is our proprietary scoring and vocal processing system. It ensures that every singer is judged on a level playing field across the country, providing studio-quality effects and real-time data for judges.
What marketing support will KWCUSA provide?
Sanctioned venues are listed on our national map, promoted through our social media channels, and included in singer-directed email campaigns. We also provide digital assets and posters for in-venue promotion.
How many competition nights should I expect?
A typical season involves 4–8 weeks of qualifying rounds (one night per week), followed by a Venue Semi-Final and a Venue Final event to determine who moves up to the State Championships.
