Official Audition Process

Eligibility Requirements
Open to all U.S. citizens and legal residents aged 18 and older. Participants must not have a major label recording contract and must be able to travel internationally for the World Finals.
Judging Criteria
Competitors are scored on Voice & Technique, Stage Presence, and Overall Artistry. Performances are evaluated by a panel of certified KWCUSA judges using our proprietary scoring system.
Song Selection
Choose songs that showcase your vocal range and emotional depth. Song choice is a critical component of your overall score. Songs must be performed over sanctioned karaoke backing tracks.
